Functioning: Eliminate clogged pores, thus eliminating the possibilities of acne and other skin blemishes.
It is not a good idea to dry out the skin to lessen the oil. Dry skin tends to be sensitive and may develop skin blemishes.
Dry skin:
Problem: Looks dry and rough all the time.
Remedy: Moisturizing it at night and before you start your day. Add a deep moisturizer to your skin care regimen weekly (if it is too dry)
Avoid: Smoking and alcohol—these can dry the skin more than cold climates. Moisturize arms and legs if they appear scaly.
Combination skin:
This is the most common type of skin. Skin care is more or less similar to either oily or dry skin. Usual parts of skin that are oily are the T-zone and the dry parts are the sides of the face near the cheek bones. Treatment may be more expensive because you will usually use two kinds of products for each skin type.
Sensitive skin:
Needs hypoallergenic products for skin care? People with this skin type must not use products that are heavily scented or heavily colored. It is best to look for products that are organic and botanical to prevent allergic reactions.
Normal skin:
Just requires cleansing and maintenance. Skin care for normal skin is less strenuous than the other types of skin.
Best Approach to Skin Care
The kind of skin care we need depends on the type of skin we have. If you care your skin in a wrong way, you would eventually get skin blemishes and other skin disorders. Knowing one’s skin type is essential for the proper care of skin.
